Dustin Pedroia has a different outlook on life now that he has adjusted to parenthood:
“Things are so good right now, last year was a tough year. Much better now….It’s been the greatest thing (fatherhood),” he said. “Having a baby really changes you. You feel so fortunate. I look at life differently. I feel more at ease, more laid back, and I love the idea of being a great father. It’s fun watching him grow every day.”
Pedroia’s numbers were down last year from his MVP season in 2008. With the distractions he had off of the field last season behind him he could have be in line for a great season in 2010.
